This book will challenge and then enhance the understanding of your faith

Excerpted from the book: Behold, I Give You Power!

                                                                                                                    Chapter One

                                  A Common Mind

            Excerpt 1:

Misunderstanding has been the greatest stumbling stone in the path of unity for humanity ever since the incident at the tower of Babel, which is recorded for us in the eleventh chapter of the book of Genesis. It remains true to this day. According to Scripture, everyone spoke the same language up to the time of that occurrence.

This means that there were no diverse dialects or misconstrued meanings, which only serve to distort communication in any given situation. Everyone knew the exact meaning of what everyone else was saying because there was only one understanding among all the people of that day. Imagine the creative power of free-flowing ideas from minds with singular understanding and solitary focus!

Have you ever wondered as to the reason our Eternal Father decided to make it difficult for those people to understand one another?  I have… so I decided to examine their plans. They had determined to, “build a great city whose tower would reach up into the heavens.”

             Excerpt 2:

After Constantine’s move from Rome to Constantinople in 330 AD, the bishops of the Byzantine Empire (Eastern Empire) and the bishops of Rome were in continuous struggle over the issue of primacy.

They went as far as to hand each other letters of excommunication in a breakup that has come to be known as the Great Schism.

What started out as a message of love, forgiveness, peace, joy, and eternal life was turned into a fight for political domination and the love of being first.  The very thing for which Messiah rebuked the Pharisees was reinstituted by the founders of the strong delusion.

Excerpt 3:

If you are going to consider entering into covenant with God, why not do it with your eyes wide open? Why not know beforehand what is expected of you and what you should expect from God?  After all, God is not trying to deceive or bamboozle anyone into becoming a believer.  We are already lost without him and that is a fact.  We died in Adam back in the garden and only the blood of Messiah can make us alive unto God again but it must also kill us unto sin simultaneously.   Sin loses its power over us when we enter into covenant with God.

Excerpt 4:

“Oh, that everyone could see and feel what I see and feel at this moment” is the thought that grips your heart…and you feel the overwhelming urge to share what has happened to you with others.  How could I have been so blind?  Those whom you come in contact with can sense that something is different about you, but when you try to tell them, most of them have no idea what you’re talking about. The closest they can come to explaining this new phenomenal you, will be to say that, “you got religious” because you can’t stop talking about what God has done in your life.

Excerpt 5:

The preaching of this Messiah, which these unrepentant Jewish leaders refused to acknowledge, was blasphemy to them because it threatened their positions.  This was a political war as far as they were concerned irrespective of the fact that signs and wonders from God followed these messengers.  Their carnal minds were unwilling to accept the truth just as Herod’s had been when he slaughtered all those children in an attempt to thwart the plan of God because he feared that the new king would someday overthrow him. This was the mindset of the rulers of that day. They were vile, corrupt, conniving, and murderous.  They had learned how to be that through the years of rebelling against God and practicing all manner of idolatry while pretending to serve him.  Do we really dare think that the vendors in the temple whose tables Messiah overturned were honest men who were there without the consent or knowledge of the chief priests and rulers?  In that case, we would have to conclude that he was wrong when he said they had made the temple into a “den of thieves.”

Excerpt 6:

Before we can understand the passing of the scepter it is important that we understand what the scepter represents.  The scepter of a kingdom represents power or authority.  The one who possesses the scepter possesses the power or authority, which the scepter represents. Who does this scepter belong to?

(Psalms 45:6) “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a righteous scepter.”

Excerpt 7:

The result of a covenant is only as good as the adherence given by all parties in the covenant to the terms of said covenant.  Every covenant has conditions and promises associated with it.  This is precisely the purpose of a covenant.  It is to bring two or more parties into agreement concerning the desired effect.  For this reason, every covenant must have conditions and promises.

Excerpt 8:

Our power is just waiting for us to reconcile to it through the truth that sanctifies us. It is time to be mature enough in the Spirit to understand who we are and what our destiny is.  We said that God’s grace defines our power through the faith He authored and finished.
